French Country Addition

The rather small kitchen lacked the desired features of its accomplished culinary occupants. During careful demolition, the old cabinetry was reinstalled in the garage. A mechanical chase behind the butler’s pantry was relocated to a new smaller void within the new configuration to provide for a much needed hall closet. L-Shaped Master

The oversized L-shaped bathroom included a curved Jacuzzi tub as the monument to the space. Mirrored walls offered the illusion of a larger room, which the homeowners struggled with the idea of discarding. The location of the tub and shower were swapped to allow for an expansive shower, while still maintaining a seldom-used soaking tub between the new shower and existing toilet room.
