To assess how we could fulfill the need, we first needed to understand how the existing space was limiting as an outdoor living space. the existing deck was relatively narrow and long. It's height off the ground made it impossible for guests to easily navigate from the kitchen to the yard. The solution became creating an outdoor BBQ with a renewed access from the house.
