The function of the Carpenter is to produce the project per the contracted construction drawings, specifications and scope of work.

  • Minimum of 7 years of remodel carpentry experience
    • Familiar with all phases of residential remodel
    • Perform minor concrete, roofing, electrical, plumbing, drywall work
    • Own a complete set of tools
    • Ability to read plans and engineering
  • Advanced communication skills
    • Communicate clearly: verbally and in writing, with other carpenters, managers, and homeowners
    • Operate issued smartphone to text, email and photo/video as required
    • Proactively corrects issues before they become errant
  • Production-oriented
    • Work well with others in a team environment
    • Be able to maintain a productive work pace, set a good example
    • Be able to work under pressure of deadlines and budgets
    • Ability to creatively problem solve
  • Professional at all times, have a positive attitude, be self-motivated
    • Valid WA driver license
    • Clean, reliable vehicle with appropriate tools

Job Information

The function of the Location Manager is to oversee the performance of multiple projects, including the appropriate scheduling of all resources while maintaining customer expectations.

 

Abbreviated Job Description:

  • Review plans and specifications to determine accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform material take-offs.
  • Schedule Trade Contractors and vendor deliveries.
  • Schedule assigned Carpenters and Apprentices.
  • Perform field carpentry labor and oversee the labor of other company employees and Trade Contractors.
  • Check all materials deliveries and report any discrepancies.
  • Develop a job site specific safety plan.
  • Maintain job site in a clean, orderly manner with as little disruption to the occupants as is feasibly possible, ensuring there is no smoking on any job site.
  • Perform a final walk-through and promptly complete any punch list items mutually agreed to.

Requirements:

  • Manage up to 5 crew members.
  • Understand construction drawings, structural engineering and details.
  • Proactively set and maintain Gantt chart scheduling.
  • OSHA-10 certification.
  • First Aid / CPR certification.
  • Reliable work vehicle.
  • Appropriate tools.

Salary may vary with work experience, responsibility and performance measurables.
