Colonial style homes are boxy and cut up into smaller rooms by nature. The central stair system makes for smaller rooms at the upper floor, including the master suite.
The primary goals with this addition were to expand the master suite, relocate the laundry to the upper floor and add an additional bedroom and guest bath. During the design phase, a lower floor mud room and kitchen addition were integrated into the overall plan.
Architectural and aesthetic integration is key to maintaining the design intent. Light, bright ergonomic solutions were the basis of these improvements.
Classic styling and timeless materials were intentionally chosen for long-term enjoyment. Custom touches provide ergonomic enhancement.
