The Remodeled Homes Tour (RHT) is a long-standing event presented by the Remodelers Council of the Master Builders Association of King & Snohomish Counties. 2021 marks the Second online presentation, which has its own pluses & minuses. 5 remodeling contractors submitted projects this year, so there is less variety than in years past.

We are featuring two Whole House renovations: “The Makeover” and “You Only Remodel Twice”. Both were transformed from the mid- ‘80’s and both were performed before they were occupied. That is to say, our customers wanted their projects done before moving in.

“You Only Remodel Twice” was named to accommodate two distinct improvements. After enjoying the interior for a spell, creation of an outdoor living space is the sequel in the making.

“The Makeover” is a story about finding an ideal property in the right location, and significantly changing interior finishes to fit the intended lifestyle.

Thanks to modern technology, several of our current design customers have enjoyed developing their projects through the magic of online platforms.

In most cases, we are scheduling a single visit to our customers’ homes rather than the 2 to 3 visits under normal circumstances. During a single site visit, 1 or 2 members of our staff photo document and measure the affected space with gloves and mask while our designer meets in a Zoom call with you in a secluded part of your home. This single visit may include a Matterport 3-D capture so that each of our trade contractors can more accurately and securely review the virtual environment.

Our customers have enjoyed the flexibility of meeting wherever they are. The most challenging is proving to be the tactile selections of finish materials. To accommodate, we have been assembling a sample bag to leave outside the front door.

Several of our customers have successfully navigated the entire design process over the past couple months and even signed into construction agreements via email.

We are confident that this approach is as effective as meeting in person, although we prefer face to face meetings in your home and our design center.

Lots of things prevent us from personal interaction: meeting conflicts, treacherous roads, illness, and social distancing to name a few.

Recognized for the National SAFE award, we take safety of your family and our crew members very seriously.
