Leading Our Team To Success
Traci Tenhulzen CGA, CAPS, HST
Traci began her career in the building industry in 2001. As founder and owner of a audit and training and safety company, Traci developed a network of commercial contractor, homebuilders and heavy equipment operators.
In 2007, Traci sold her company and began working with Michael in the remodeling business. She and Michael strengthened their industry partnership in 2012 as they became co-owners of Tenhulzen Residential Design Build Remodeling, the family business.
Traci believes, “It’s not whether you win or lose, but how to lead your team to succeed with their goals.” She appreciates the unique position that she is in with being a female in a male dominated industry. Her success does not come by accident. Traci prepares for each day, and each job by leaving no stone unturned. She asks questions, does research and relies on her years of sales and customer service experience.
“My father-in-law used to say, Remodeling is like tailoring clothes for a person while they are walking.” Says Traci, “In our industry, we are renovating homes while our clients are living there.” So being aware and sensitive to those challenges is one of Traci’s strongest traits.
