Michael Tenhulzen CGR, CAPS
Michael has been a part of the family business of design and build residential remodeling for most of his life. His enthusiasm and work ethic create a positive environment that encourages team members to take ownership of their positions and strive for success. He is a true leader in the industry, dedicated to creating lasting memories for his clients.
Michael Tenhulzen’s commitment to excellence, customer service, craftsmanship, and innovation have been the foundation of Tenhulzen Remodeling’s long-standing success.
In addition to his business experience, Mike has a long record of civic and nonprofit service throughout the Eastside. He has served in leadership roles with the Woodinville Chamber, Woodinville Rotary Club, Woodinville Heritage Society, Falcon Gridiron Club, Northshore Lacrosse, Kirkland Performance Center, the Redmond Chamber, the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, Leadership Institute Eastside, Hopelink, Redmond Lions Club, and the City of Redmond’s Derby Days.
Michael enjoys tinkering with projects, community interaction, travel and the outdoors.
Traci Tenhulzen CGA, CAPS, HST
In 2007, Traci sold her construction & industrial safety company to begin working in Michael’s remodeling business.
“My father-in-law used to say, Remodeling is like tailoring clothes for a person while they are walking.” Says Traci, “In our industry, we are renovating homes while our clients are living there.” So being aware and sensitive to those challenges is one of her strongest traits.
When not at the office, Traci enjoys the outdoors, servicing the community and supporting her family. She has been an advocate for her son’s schooling and cancer survivorship. Support of the community has evolved from attending events, to sponsoring them, to hosting some of the most sought after events including annual Flip Flop Lemon Drop and mystery-themed dinner events at Hollywood Manor.
Traci has served as ambassador for the Woodinville Chamber for several years, served as Woodinville High School PTSA president in 2025, and was president of the Master Builders Association in 2023.
