No Country For Old Kitchen
Updating with what ya got
Not all kitchens are created equal. Some are confined to their layout with windows, doorways and overhead beams. In this case, the kitchen doubles as a hallway to the mud room and garage. Budget restrictions precluded relocating structural components, so updating finishes in the existing locations was best suited for this home.
From Concept to Creation
With meticulous planning, the kitchen transformation unfolded seamlessly. The door to the pantry was relocated, creating space for additional cabinets. The floor’s original hardwoods were refinished, enhancing the room’s rustic charm.
A Splash of Blue
Inspired by the family’s love for the color blue, a vibrant tile backsplash adorned the kitchen walls. This striking addition complemented the adjacent family room fireplace, creating a cohesive and visually appealing space.
Function Meets Style
Every aspect of the kitchen was carefully considered to blend functionality with aesthetics. From concealed dishwashers to durable quartz countertops, the design effortlessly balanced style and practicality, ensuring the space met the family’s needs for years to come.
